Brazilian Blowout
This is the newest and hottest service offerings recently added to our list of hair services. Also known as the frizz eliminator, the Brazilian Blowout is the newest way to smooth hair. Unlike other straightening treatments that physically alter the curl pattern, the Brazilian Blowout allows your hair to still maintain some curl or wave because the hair cuticle is filled with keratin to strengthen and condition. With this smoothing treatment, you’ll be able to wear your hair with waves or quickly blow-dry it straight.
The Brazilian Blowout works to reverse past damage by infusing the hair with keratin to improve its overall health. Since the Brazilian Blowout smoothes the cuticle and eliminates frizz, it makes naturally wavy hair, straighter. Curly hair types will most likely be wavy or have a soft curl. If you have hair that’s frizzy, unmanageable, damaged and chemically treated you would benefit from the Brazilian Blowout. The treatment will last anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks and will gradually wash away.
Japanese Straightening
A very popular offering at our salon, the Japanese Straightening, or otherwise known as thermal reconditioning, utilizes a perm solution to straighten the hair so that’s it’s physically unable to hold a curl. First intended to recreate the straight and shiny hair of Japanese women, this process is more abrasive and therefore the results are long lasting. Since it completely alters the structure of the hair the treatment is permanent, but new growth will be the same texture as prior to straightening. Japanese Straightening is recommended for curly, frizzy or coarse hair and after the treatment the hair is virtually pin straight.
